PUBLIC EDUCATION
Limestone District School Board
As the region’s only fully inclusive English public school board, LDSB offers diverse options in academics, arts, technology, skilled trades, French Immersion and special programming to suit every student and every pathway.
Algonquin & Lakeshore Catholic District School Board
ALCDSB serves over 13,200 students in its elementary, secondary, and special adult programs. Several schools also offer access to early and late French immersion programs.
Conseil des Ecole Public de l´Est de l´Ontario
CEPEO oversees French public schools for children from junior kindergarten to grade 12. The board operates 38 schools and oversees education in the French language for over 14,000 students in Eastern Ontario.
Conseil des Ecoles Catholiques du Centre-Est de l´Ontario
The CECCE oversees Catholic French schools in Eastern Ontario. The CECCE operates 41 elementary schools, 10 high schools and a school for adults. Over 21,000 are registered at CECCE schools.
PRIVATE EDUCATION
In addition to the public boards, Kingston is home to numerous private schools that cater to various spiritual and educational needs. Many of these facilities are able to offer smaller classroom sizes and specialized programs for their students.
